At first, I was planned to go to Ippudo Tao but since it was far off from the shopping center (which we need to "work on"), we decided to go to Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery instead. The shop was very happening as usual. We waited for table for 4 for a bit as my Singaporean, Y, was coming to join us as well.
When we got to the table, we started ordering right away. My friend's sister, N, ordered Aka maru ramen which I ordered last time. I, on the other hand, went for "Kyushuu Miso Tonkotsu Ramen with Kakuni" which was seasonal menu if I wasn't wrong. It was good, no, it was fantastic! The broth was light though it was tonkotsu or pork bone soup. The miso wasn't too salty and went so well with the noodle which was medium cooked. I miss it already!
K went for seasonal menu as well, called "Bakuretsu Tanmen". It was like international ramen coz it was mabo tofu mixing with clear soup with fresh tomatoes, basil and cheese as toppings. It was very interesting and unbelievably went well together. K was more than satisfied.
Y already had her lunch so she went for steamed vegetable salad (which, I kind think, was totally ripped off, that was 8SGD!). We also ordered gyoza to share and that never fail to please us!
We made a bold move and ordered their dessert, rare cheesecake. I never knew before that ramen shop can amazing rare cheesecake! Totally a great way to end the meal!
I know, I'm such a bias when it comes to Ippudo. I couldn't help that I love them so much. They never fail to please me, whether in Japan (of course) or even in Singapore. And it's always a big hit to whoever I introduce them to. Thumbs up, Ippudo!

This looks really good, especially the first one! I'm planning on going to Singapore in August so I'll be asking lots of questions when we meet up.
