Bangkok: Dai-chan

We supposed to have Japanese food for dinner on Saturday but N called it off coz she had to see her relatives so I arranged small gathering at Dai-chan, all you can eat Yakiniku, instead.

Dai-chan is actually a branch of the famous all you can eat Yakiniku restaurant, Giant, so the food that serves here are pretty much the same as in Giant (I also mean the quality). The only difference is probably Dai-chan is easier to access, with short distance from BTS' Ari Station.

Me and P arrived first and we just couldn't wait for others so we started off. The menu was very simple; 3 kinds of beef, pork, bacon, squid, chicken, salmon, prawn, eryngii mushroom for grill. You can also order Kimchi, vegetable mixed with sesame oil, plain rice, garlic rice and miso soup as much as you want!

We simply ordered everything to eat. The Kalbi was amazing, VERY VERY Yummy. It went so well with the dipping sauce which we can modify it the any way we like (Me = lots of garlic). The salmon took so long to cook though since they came straight out from the freezer.

With only Baht450 for 2 hours of all you can eat food and all you can drink softdrink, I think it is very good value esp. with the quality of food they are serving here. Their staff are quite attentive, always look out to fill your empty glass. Reservation is needed esp. for weekend.
